Every few months we host invite-only closed-door events across the country, for ambitious Indians to talk about their biggest, boldest and baddest ideas. Only your theses that you can't talk about on Twitter are allowed. Only 5 speakers presenting each time, handpicked audience of up to 25 (we call them "interruptors") and chatam house rules.
We've hosted top founders, engineers, ecosystem builders, journalists, civic activists, political workers, and all kinds of people from across India in our previous events. Doesn't matter where you are and what you do, if you think you have something interesting to add, we will pay for your flights to come in. Check out highlights of our previous events below:
hosting tech parties we'd want to be attendees at
We realized networking events weren't the best way to meet people, and there weren't nearly enough good, big parties to go to. So since early 2024, we've been hosting an invite-only house party in Bangalore. We vet every single attendee, including some of the best engineers, hackers, scientists, researchers, designers, lawyers and investors we've met over time (80%) + some friends & family of ours from all phases of life (15%) + interesting people with no circle who have just moved to the city (5%).
It's a party, but we take organizing it seriously and as a matter of great responsibility. Our self-imposed KPIs are:
- no. of angel cheques raised at the party
- no. of long-term collaborations or relationships forged at the party
- no. of people fly into the city to attend
- % of no-shows (they face a 1-year ban)
